The NBA has the best athletes in the world, hands down no contest
The NHL has a bunch of white dudes that know how to skate. Literally anyone that grew up in a cold region can be a pro hockey player.

Take away the skates, Hockey players have just as good, if not better stamina than NBA players. They are stronger, have better hand eye coordination, and faster reflexes than NBA players
NHL athletes can compete with NBA athletes minus the skates. The skates just make them even more superior

hockey is more exciting because a goal is a novelty throughout the whole game and not the last 2 minutes. and it's just straight up more exciting to watch.

Get back to me when you have a 6'9" 280 lb hockey play with a 40 inch vertical that runs a 4.6
there are 6'10" guys with 40 inch verticals that can run in the D league right now not even close to making it in the NBA. Hockey has zero of those, or anything even close
