Sound hole will be wide open when you change strings.
Just reach in and push it back through from the inside out. I remove pins that way frequently to limit pry marks on some acoustics.

My recommendation based on the dust, stain on bass side of bridge and the likely hood of getting Tetanus from those strings….

And yes, that's actually a shoe lace guitar strap. That's how I ended up with it 20+ years ago. A guy left it at my house and never came to get it back so it is mine now.
I also love how it still has the plastic film on the pick guard. Model number and whatnot visible through the sound hole.
