Brass string pins for an acoustic guitar.

I ordered these last week and they arrived yesterday. LINK
I just installed them a few minutes ago and I can't believe the improvement they made. I didn't even change strings, because the strings on this guitar are almost new. I just loosened them up 1 at a time and changed the pins and retuned.
The change in volume, tone and sustain is profound. I can't believe I've never tried this before. It's cheap and easy.
Every acoustic guitar that I have, will be getting new brass pins.
Edit to add: This was on the cheap Marlboro acoustic guitar that I bought a few months ago.
I had already done fretwork on it. The nut, saddle and pins were all plastic, so I had changed the nut for a brass one, bone saddle and pins.
It still didn't seem to sound up to it's potential. These pins did the trick.
It will be getting a K&K passive pickup next.

I upgraded my old beater acoustic to TUSQ nut, bridge, and pins. It was a similar revelation. I didn't even know brass pins were a thing.
Not gonna lie, I was watching some luthier channel and he was replacing a nut with a tusq nut. He dropped a plastic nut and a tusq nut onto his anvil and the difference in sound sent me immediately to Amazon.

You 100% should have done a before and after video, but like me, you were probably too excited to hear the difference.

I've really never done any kind of video before, but it would be easy enough to change it back and do one.
It only takes a few minutes and the difference is undeniable.

Thanks. Never heard of this but will order a set for my Taylor and will report back.
1) Does anyone know of a relatively cheap ($100 bucks or so) wireless guitar transmitter and receiver that works effectively?
2) Also, are Locking Tuners worth the price of an upgrade or just a "convenient" add on?

Just ordered a set of these for my ‘92 Martin D-1(essentially a D-18 with laminate sides). I think these would sound great since the wood is starting to get old now.
Thanks for the idea.

I don't know anything about the wireless deals.
Never found much need for locking tuners on any of my guitars really, but everyone plays differently.

LEKATO WS-90 5.8Ghz
tried a couple of different ones before but never really liked them until this set
decent range, excellent battery life, and minimal tonal change from a good cable, plus they’re inexpensive
actually had the receiver on my first set stop taking a charge after a few months, the company replaced both units free of charge, do customer service is outstanding as well

These arrived a couple of weeks ago and I installed them after a string change(Martin Marquis Phosphor Bronze 12-54).
The increase in volume and clarity was very noticeable. The low end was helped as well.
All in all a very good mod!
Thanks.
