I never was really a fan but he was part of Dukes of September when I saw them several years ago (w/ Donald Fagen & Michael McDonald). I came away from that show pretty impressed.

We found the Silk Degrees album at Goodwill a few weeks ago and put it on the turntable this past weekend. It was Gawd Awful.

He's been to NO Jazz Fest twice in the last 4-5 years. We were in the front row of the Blues Tent in 2014 for his set there. Exceeded my expectations.
