It's been over 40 years and I still get happy every time I hear this song.

Never cared for his cover of Toussaint's What Do You Want The Girl To Do, until I saw him perform it at Toussaint memorial concert right after he died. Got goosebumps.

One of my favorite songs. Check out his performance of this song on SNL when you get a chance.

Couple of years ago in the Blues Tent at Jazz Fest this was his encore song. I never figured that song could get a crowd going the way it did.

Imagine everyone singing "Lido...Oh oh oh ohohoh!"

Saw him last night at the Manship. Tight blues band. No stage banter, just music. Played his hits as you remembered them and then killed with multiple blues sets. Left very impressed.

I've heard of Scaggs but never actually listened to his stuff. Listening to Lowdown and loving it. Thanks for sharing!

Boz is great. His album Middle Man has always been a favorite. This has always been my favorite from that one:

He's still touring. My sister saw him in Lake Charles last night. I've seen him numerous times over a 50 year span. In the early 70s we drove to Houston and saw him open for Steve Miller Band.

His album MEMPHIS from 2013 is exceptional.

Go see him live if you have the opportunity!

He actually played with the Steve Miller band before he went solo.

People dismiss him as the "Lido Shuffle" guy, but he's recorded with Miller, Duane Allman, Steely Dan... Plus he's a premiere blues musician.
