I'd feel lucky to even get that far in the conversation, I would probably freeze up like an a-hole.

Here is my review of the concert:

Overall, it met my expectations. Bob Dylan is 75 years old, but he sings like he's 100. I can deal with that for the most part, but there are no attempts to sing his songs the way they were recorded. It would take about 25 or 30 seconds into a song like Desolation Row or Don't Think Twice It's Alright before you even realize that's what he is singing. The popular classics were few and far between, the biggest being Tangled Up In blue and Blowing In The Wind, which were virtually unrecognizable. Melodies, keys, and beats are changed entirely for these songs and it's not very enjoyable to listen to. Oddly, he sang 4 covers of Frank Sinatra songs during the show. I found this to be a very bold and offputting choice because they sound like shite sung by Bob Dylan and they were not well known Sinatra tunes. Bob Dylan does not interact with the crowd at all during the show. No intro, no stories, no comments, no goodbye, no band introduction, and no bow at the end, only an awkward moment of him standing up expressionless while the lights fade and people wonder if the show is really over. Then the house lights come on and you leave somewhat disappointed. I give this show a hard C-. It was basically only good for saying "I saw Bob Dylan live." My humble opinion is that I do not really recommend the show, much to my disappointment.

That is awesome, fella! I was at the show. I drove 4 1/2 hours there and back and was completely blown away at his form. So many are critical of him, but dayumm I think they're missing something special because of personal preferences. My girlfriend wanted to try to find him for me and maybe luck up and get a word in with him, but I truly wouldn't want to meet him in those circumstances. I have nothing that could convey the deep admiration accurately, and it is so unnatural after a show. I clapped loud and yelled "thank you" and left it at that. Dylan is the man. I wish that I could be 1/10 as productive in ANY field as he is in his.

Welcome to 1975. Dylan has been doing this for live performances damn near his whole career.

I went to the show. I wish he would have played some more of his classic hits. Not in my top ten concerts that I have seen but it was ok.

I am aware of this, but when your singing is as bad as his it does a great deal of fan service to help us recognize what he is singing.

I read a review of one of his concerts online and some girl said, "He only played one song I knew and it was a Garth Brooks song."

For frick's sake.

Needed to watch out for the phone photo Nazis. They were only selectively enforcing their rule and literally had police escorting people out of the auditorium. Then again, it could be that Shreveport doesn't know how to treat its guests as graciously as places like Baton Rouge. Ruined the show along with the fact that the guy is no longer any good live. I was there. Wasted some good money.

That was a Bob Dylan show thing, not a Municipal Auditorium thing. At Robert Plant you could take all the photo and video you wanted, and the concert was much more fun. The people sitting on the floor were getting pissed off (and rightfully so) because someone would take a pic with their cell phone, but then some annoying security guard would come over and shine an obnoxiously bright flashlight down the row, making it impossible for some people to focus on the stage. They were doing it even during the encore and people started shouting at security guards to turn their god damned flashlights off. They were entirely more distracting than any cell phone in the building.

I understand that. The SMA staff could have been nicer about it however, and it didn't help to not only have to deal with the local staff, but some dumbass Shreveport cop who was standing right behind him with his hand less that a couple of inches from his gun, and some goon who I assume was part of Dylan's staff - the guy could have easily passed for some skin-head gang member. I knew of motorcycle gangs in my day who looked more civil than that freak. As for the cop, he looked stupid as hell and portrayed that role well beyond anyone's expectations. I never took my eyes off of his right hand the entire time it was near that damned gun. Nothing against cops in general as I work with a lot of them in my job. However, this idiot gives the profession a bad name.

I am sure it makes no matter to him, but Mr. Dylan will not be bothered by my presence or my hard earned money after last night.

The facility initially tried to say that it was Dylan's rules. The written reply was that they agreed to book the show assuming those conditions and whatever joint and severable liability that came with it.
