Shreveport's own Kenny Wayne Shepherd needs more love.

Agreed. Damn good intro, takes off quickly. Solid 90s rock song with a 70s vibe.

How old is ole Kenny Wayne these days? He was just a kid when it came out, right?

Great song. Definitely one of the 10 most played tracks on Eagle 98.1.

Believe me, 96.9 radio in Alexandria gives that song plenty of love. Put that station on and within an hour, I guarantee you'll hear it.

I remember seeing Kenny on a show in New Orleans called LATV. It was a local public access type show that featured a local artist. It was a 16 or 17 year old KWS. I was blown away. I guess I was around 12 or 13 at the time. Went out and bought his debut album which I preferred more than his sophomore album. Blue on Black is still great though.
