The doc plays a tape of Barry and the keyboardist noodling around and playing with lyrics when writing How Deep is Your Love, then he comes up with “I know your eyes in the morning sun, I feel you touch me in the pouring rain.” That was quite a moment.

Just finished the doc. It was very good. I knew very little about the history of the band so it was nice to learn all this. I’ve got an even greater appreciation of the band now.
How sad that Barry is all by himself now.

I didn't even realize until about a year ago that Barry, Maurice and Robin wrote Islands in the Stream. They wrote it for Marvin Gaye, but changed it to fit Kenny and Dolly's style. Now I can't unhear the distinctive Bee Gees harmony and am amazed that I didn't figure it out before being told.

Excellent doc...didn't really feel like watching it but got hooked into it and am glad I did. Love the stuff about the drum loop on "Stayin' Alive" and how it was really pioneering studio stuff.

I’ve watched several BeeGee’s documentaries, and I’m always amazed at how some people just have “it”. Doesn’t matter the field, but some people are just born to do certain things in life. My favorite BeeGee’s story that shows how Barry Gibb just has “it” when it comes to making music is that the inspiration for the guitar riff in “Jive Talkin” came from crossing a bridge each day and hearing the sound of the tires going over different sections in the bridge.

the 'Here At Last...' one? If so I agree. Apparently they filmed that concert at the Forum but after viewing the footage, they didn't like it and shelved it. Glad they released the audio though

Just had a chance to watch it. My 32 year old son is on for Christmas and watched it with me and was amazed at all these guys did. Great documentary and brought back a lot of great memories and good times.

Watched today with my mom, who is a huge Bee Gees fan. Great doc and information on the guys.
Incredible when you think how well they adapted to 3 different eras of music. It is a shame that they got lumped into the disco downfall but they were so good with it.
