They were later forced to include song writing credits. Initially, a lot of the credits were solely written as Zeppelin's- Page and/or Plant's.
They were sued and forced to change the credits.
Did you really not know this? It's pretty common knowledge.

I talking about currently. Not originally. The current writing credit on the vast majority of their songs is to Zep members.
Sure they changed some and had some lawsuits. That was common in those days. A lot of old singers, of all styles (blues, country, folk, etc) didn’t do a good job in those days of documenting and licensing music rights.
It was a free for all.

They were hardly a cover band, they just used riffs and motifs of other songs, the sound and arrangement were on a different planet. It’s been done forever. And since the 80s sampling has been legally recycling the actual tracks. People use others music and there isn’t much getting around that.
LZ is a monster musical influence, we wouldn’t know much about the artists they covered without them.

Led Zeppelin sucks
Sometimes I wonder if people on here hear music once at 15 and never hear it again or if they still listen to this stuff. Their music is literally written for teenage boys it’s all about calling your junk a lemon and lord of the rings

I don't think they "suck". They're not very original and wronged a lot of people, but they're a fairly talented band.
I do think Robert Plant is garbage, but the rest of the band seems pretty decent.

It's funny, you always hear they ripped off, but listen to the originals and the LZ version blows it out of the water. Most aren't even recognizable
Just ran through a bunch of songs on the list and listened to the “originals” - I mean, “inspired by” certainly comes to mind, but I wouldn’t call any of those “rip offs”. And I’m not a huge Zeppelin fan.

Zeppelin evolved music in a much more original way than your schtick that has existed since the dawn of the internet.
Jk by the way, I enjoy your humor.

As someone once said "Clapton gave Robert Johnson credit for everything but changing his guitar strings".
