Was listening to Odelay on the way to work this morning and decided that is what the Beatles would've sounded like if they were in their prime in the mid-90s.
Lot of White Album/Abbey Road music on that album, just with added electronics which I'm sure Lennon and McCartney would've been all over.

Ehhhh I don't know about the Beatles reference. McCartney has been putting out albums since odelay and they are not at all alike. Either way, Beck is a good artists and has put out some great albums. His last 3 have been really good.

I guess my point was if the Beatles were in their late 60s experimental phase in the mid-90s, the music would sound something like Odelay.

Nothing to add here other than to say I like Odelay a lot, but Lost Cause is an amazing song.

I'm actually not a huge fan of Odelay, though I like a few tracks off of it. I think his other work in Sea Change, Guero, The Information, and Modern Guilt is awesome.
