Pretty solid. I'm moving there in July, so I'll miss it, but hopefully it keeps up for next year

Hmmm May jump a quick GLO flight up that weekend. Definitely worth a weekend trip.

That is a great time in Memphis. Don't forget the BBQ contest also, it is the Super Bowl of Q competitions but held a different weekend.

If you like the blues or just music, you can't hardly beat this - all on Beale.

Full lineup leaked - Here. You can add Neil Young to the list. Definitely an interesting lineup this year.

I'm glad they haven't taken the blues component out of their festival (I received a questionnaire asking that question).

Saturday is a blues lovers dream.

Not one hard rock/metal act is disappointing.

The plan is to develop Tom Lee Park into a permanent festival venue specifically for Beale Street Music festival and BBq fest. Discussed having a large main stage that will be ampitheatre style and lots of accommodations for vendors. To go along with four brand new hotels being built downtown right now and the mud island project, the coming years should only get better.

If they eliminate festival seating and put in permanent seats my days of going will quickly come to an end.

The draw for me is being able to get within 20 feet if I want to bad enough.
