I went for a few hours from 1-4. Saw Jonathan "Boogie" Long's set. He was fantastic. He is 23 years old from Baton Rouge and won Guitar Center's "King of Blues" competition (Over 5,000+ entrants). He absolutely shreds on the guitar.
He is playing at Happy's downtown from 9-1 tonight. Looking for good live blues music look no further.

I heard Johnny Winter was pretty good.

Royal Southern Brotherhood was one of the best new bands I've seen in several years. Some of their song structures were a little bland but the performance was hot all the way around. Definitely potential to bust out to a higher level of recognition.
