Anyone know of a banjo teacher in BR for an adult? Total beginner who has piddled with some basics via on line tutorial videos. Thanks.

Five-string or tenor or plectrum?
That's the question asked by one of my very VIP banjo clients in NOLA when I posed your Q to him.

What’s the difference? Mines a 5 string does that mean I play 5 string?

Gotta get that roll down first. Would imagine you could find online resources for that.
20 years ago I took dobro lessons. The teacher was like these are the basics... now you just gotta practice. I could've saved $$ on two lessons, but I guess I needed to hear it directly.

plectrum?
I was at my buddies shop the other day, when somebody used that word... it was just like Beevis and Butthead... " he said Plectrum"
