I'd say Gov't Mule absolutely does but TTB kinda fits within its own unique genre.
I mentioned this already on the MB a few times but I saw a Mule show the other night at Red Rocks that ranks among the best shows for me ever (and I've seen a lot of fricking shows). 3 sets: Warren solo, Mule, Dark Side of the Mule. Altogether it was 4-5 hours of music.
Setlist
Pink Floyd set

I definitely consider them a jam band...

yea, Mule is a jamband. They didn't start out as one, but they are now.

Crb is definitely my favorite jam band.
I wish mmw still toured, another band that jams, but isnt a jam band.
And i second ween as a band that jams, been listening to and seeing those dudes since the early 90s.
I saw a ton of phish shows in the late 90s when they where at their peak, but havent seen them since the first hiatus.
The grateful dead is by far the greatest jam band of all time and its really not even up for debate.

Gary Clark Jr is an incredible live show. I've seen him twice now and will go to any show he plays in LA.
Not a "jam band" but he'll jam out every song he plays.

I like them because I'm more of a Crowes fan but he's branched off in better gigs(even though he's a bigger douchebag than his brother). I can listen to all the branches from the Crowes including Marc Ford's solo stuff.
Magpie Salute has a new one out that's decent.

I love crbs jgb vibe. Ive seen the crowes probably close to 50 times, but as someone in his 40s, crb is perfect for me right now.
I tried to get into magpie, but i found the new album kinda boring. I give cr so much more credit than rr, crb was built from the ground up whereas rr built magpie on the back of the crowes and even played almost nothing but crowes songs on their first few tours.
Id like to add primus as a non-jamband that jams. Im go to see them tomorrow night, so that should be fun.

I'm right there with ya on that. I do prefer Chris' work. I saw New Earth Mud years ago and always felt he was definitely the soul.
Listening to Rich on a podcast, apparently he lost 90% of his Black Crowes guitars and gear from Hurricane Sandy. He had it in storage in New Jersey. He mentioned that was a true sign BC were done for good.

Ive always been a huge fan of chris, so of course it was easy for me to side with him after the band called it quits.
But a few years ago rich played with anders and nicki bluhme and it made me remember why i loved rich and his guitar playing and tone.
Id would love to see him and marc ford on a duo acoustic tour.
