From eddies list i would choose gda or rebirth. The playhouse is a great venue.

If nothing else just go to Frenchman st. I caught some kinda bluegrass band followed by a badass Russian band complete with a tambourine playing gypsy girl last week at The Maison. It was stellar live music.

I usually drink Bourbon, but for a tambourine playing gypsy, Russian chick, consider me Ivan and pour me a double

Damn right you'll drink vodka Lou. And when she starts a whoopin the shite out of a big marching band bass drum you'll find yourself in a trance. Next thing you know you'll see a flash of boobs and naval and her floating by you with a tip jar that you can't put your monies in fast enough..
