Questions for anyone who knows more about this than me -- how do you measure the success of a festival like this where most people are going for free? How much does it cost to book a lineup like this? Beyond selling VIP passes, how else did the festival make money -- did they get a cut of food and drink sales along with making vendors pay for the right to set up shop? I know with Blues Festival, there are a lot of different VIP packages and special paid events leading up to it -- plus I assume the talent is a tad cheaper than Shooter Jennings, Sun Volt and Old 97s.

Son Volt sounded amazing. For some reason Shooter Jennings didn't really do it for me. Not sure why.

I literally posted pictures and videos showing a very full lawn but you continue with this "half empty" narrative and im not sure why.

I had a great time, i didnt enjoy old 97s but to each their own.
If yall wanna claim it was “packed” cool.
Not really sure why it matters, i know what my eyes saw and what was around me while i was chillin in my chair by the sound guy while thedoc was up front with his wife.
Thedoc needs to post some pictures from the back of the crowd, not pics from the pit looking into some lights.
