Hell yes. Seems like its been forever since I and love and you. Although I got lucky and was able to discover all of their older works in the meantime since I didn't get really into them until InLnY.

Some of the best musicians and songwriters currently out.

I hope they get raw in this one. "I and Love and You" was borderline homo at times. I am a fan, but that's just how I feel. This new single sounds the same. I'd like to see them get more technical like they are capable of doing, instead of trying to write a jingly, catchy chorus or some shite.

Just curious, what songs do you consider homo from I and Love and You.

I'm not a fan of kick drum and slight figure of speech from that album (a little too generic pop sounding for me) but I enjoy most of the rest.

I understand where you are coming from, but these statements seem to contradict each other.

Yeah I was a little confused with that as well. I and You was their most technical album yet. On all prior albums they recorded one straight take rather than overlap or piece together parts.

The Once and Future Carpenter is one of their better songs IMO. Looking forward to having that one.

Also: Emotionalism > I and Love and You
