Naw it's the same one I have had. One thing that sucks is it is too tall for the turntable and the lid wont close while it is on there so if i am using it i cant close the top of the turntable to keep dust and stuff out.

Feeling old after I realized today that this was 20 years old a few weeks ago.

whats been on my tables this week:
Goblin: Suspiria OST LINK
Frank n Dank 48 Hours Instrumentals: Dilla once again showing how he predated so many future styles with this early 2000s project that was shelved. Skip the lyrics and just go with the beats. Dilla bangs out some beats that are much more raw and grimy than what you might expect. No samples either; beats were made and then completely remade. Dilla shows flashes of future grime and trap. Must own.
(Unfortunately not many of these tracks can be heard, in full, for free.) LINK
Express Rising: S/T Man, what a beautiful record. Imagine Modest Mouse in their most sonic moments. Downtempo for the Old West. Only a couple of samples used in the making of this awesome sophomore effort from world renowned record head Dante Carfagna. The guy who plays the guitar on here is from Arkansas. WPS. LINK
Almost done with the building of multiple vinyl cabinents (2x12s) and with a replica sefour dj table. Will post pics when complete. When the tax monies rolls in I will be purchasing a pair of these: LINK

I got White Stripes, Sly and the Family Stone, Johnny Cash, St. Paul, decemberists, father john misty, black keys, and the sun records album. Quite pleased.
The store opened at 8. It was packed. There was another that opened at 10 that was going to have the Elvis record, but I couldn't sleep and didn't feel like waiting 4 hours in line. Got everything I wanted except monk, redding, and foo fighters.

My store didn't even have 95 new year but I still probably would t have snagged it if they had. Believe me, I love that show, but I just don't have that kind of cash to drop on a show I've listened to 347 times.
Bet it sounds great though

I have just started listening to albums on vinyl and I'm impressed with the sound quality. Has anyone listened to a rap album on vinyl before? Is there a difference in sound quality like in rock albums?
