Good album LanierSpots.

I believe the first time I saw H and O live, it was off that album.

Hoping this post doesn't get frowned upon as I'm trying to help out the MB brothers

Anyone looking for a killer audiophile system upgrade? My system is very similar to River_Man's pictured above.
Mint condition, like new items with very few hours selling to move.

I researched and purchased these items per Marco's advice and recommendations.

Odyssey Khatargo amp with upgrades (matte black)
Parasound P5 2.1 ch. pre-amp (matte black)
Martin Logan Motion 40's standing speakers. (black piano gloss)
I'm in Lafayette, can email / text pics, and willing to drive within a few hours.

Haven't posted in a while but this is a pretty big sale worth noting. The Sound of Vinyl has a year end 50% off sale which includes some really good stuff.

I snagged a few things including the Allman Brothers "Trouble No More" 10 LP set at 50% off an already discounted price, for $83. (Plus I had a healthy amount of reward $ they let me use.) Blue Note Tone Poets... 50% off! That's in too good to be true territory! I'm filling up my quota for the first few months of 2025...

So far I’ve gotten through the ST & WFTS (like you) and they both are really good! So happy to have proper 33rpm releases now. Can’t wait to get to the rest, I have plenty records from the holidays to get to actually after hitting up those 50% sales.
What did you think of the sound? Some people have reported issues but so far so good here. And for those who missed out on the box set, they’re about to release the titles individually…

Waiting for the Sun sounds phenomenal. Dead quiet vinyl and outstanding detail. Love Street and Spanish Caravan, in particular, stood out to me. I listened to self titled next and it sounds really good, as good as those tapes will allow imo. They are what they are at this point. I still think my favorite press of self titled is the 1997 Simply Vinyl version. I have no idea about the source or the mastering, but it’s the most “alive” sounding version I’ve heard. And everything in my box seems perfect, luckily.

Looking forward to listening to the rest of the box.
