Just checked the Blowout Bin and found a few very nice things:
The Who - Live at Leeds (Half-speed mastered 3 LP set of all 33 songs in performance sequence)
John Coltrane - A Love Supreme (Blue vinyl; I see claims this is stamped from the same master as the Acoustic Sounds version, but not sure how true that is.)
Max Roach - Members Don't Git Weary - Pink Vinyl (Exclusive)
Also grabbed a 3 CD set from tenor saxophonist Booker Ervin & pianist Horace Parlan.
Edit: damn, got an email this morning that the Roach LP was canceled due to being unavailable. Was really looking forward to that one.
Edit 2: The Discogs entry for ALS has very positive comments on this. Definitely a steal at the price.
I may have went a little overboard lol. Would’ve grabbed the Coltrane too if I didn’t already have it. It sounds fantastic.

Bri... did you order the Max Roach after I posted? Imma be upset if you get it and mine got canceled!
Got my copies of ALS & Live At Leeds today... 3rd copy of each for me lol, with one of the on hand ones of each being a hi-res format (SACD & HD Tracks download, respectively) that I am going to be interested in comparing to the LP versions.

Oh no, I got my stuff like two weeks ago. Had been meaning to tell the folks in this thread, but never got around to it. Acoustic sounds did have this Tone Poet title for 5 bucks, not sure if they still do, but definitely worth the money.

Vinyl storage recommendations, anyone?
My ancient plywood record crates from the 70s are falling apart and in dire need of upgrade/replacement, and they're out of space anyway. Anyone have suggestions for vinyl storage in the realm of 3-500 LPs? I have some specific size/space constraints. Primarily, the width needs to be about 24-27", height can go up to 6' or so.
I see a couple of things from Ikea that are frequent recommendations, the Kallax and Eket. The Kallax is a bit too wide but Eket double at 27.5" is possible, and the price is pretty good.
This looks like a pretty nice piece from Mapleshade Unfinished Oak LP 4 Shelves that is about as high in $ as I'd want to go.

Kallax works well for me, I like the fact that the Esket has a back though. Look's like Esket's max load per shelf is 15 lbs, whereas Kallax holds 29 lbs.

At the price, it's hard to beat, and you could always get a backing board custom cut at Home Depot and attach it, I would think.
Also - thanks for posting that Larry Carlton / Eleventh House record. Had never heard of EH, streamed it - very good stuff.

The ones from target have always worked for me and they’re very affordable. I’ve just kind of pieced them together as needed. You probably noticed in some of my pictures that I actually built platforms under them to get them 5 inches off the ground for easier access.

Yep. I streamed it earlier today. Very interesting record.

This is actually a very enjoyable Tone Poet release. And with Chet Baker on trumpet for 5 bucks?……….Yes please
Why did my picture turn out so dark? Lol

1975- Nemperor Records
Ok. This is a rad arse record. Jazz/funk in outer space.
With appearances by Jimmy Smith, Larry Young, Al DiMeola, and oddly enough, Larry Coryell.
Seriously, checkout this album. I think I’m in love.
Al and Larry with dueling guitar solos. Hell yes

Definitely will check out the Lenny White, and pass on to a couple of friends who may know of it but if not, definitely need to.
Where did you find that Konitz record for $5? I actually looked at the AS site earlier this week and saw it there for $10 and looked elsewhere but it was more. (And now it's $18 at AS.)

It took me by surprise. I was sitting there thinking how is this not a famous album.
It was $5 on AS. I guess they went back up on it. Keep an eye on it, they may drop it down again. It’s still a good buy at $18 imo, but it could go back down.
