I like The Who, but it's The Beatles, Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, and the rest.

I personally think the who are better than the stones but the Beatles and Who are like apples and oranges. I think the Who might be the best rock band ever

The Who could very well be the best live band, but their catalog is really lacking. It doesn't compare to The Beatles' at all and are pretty far back from the Stones as well. ....imo.
A lot of Tommy and Quadrophenia are really hit or miss while Who's Next is really their best album overall.

Up vote for mentioning the Dave Clark Five. Terribly underrated British invasion band. They just couldn’t transition into the 70’s like many others.
