What is your problem?
Serious question: I haven't been to the Varsity in years. Can you smoke weed in there? What's the deal?

I hope you're banned inside, because when I go to this show I don't wanna have to stomp your arse!

The crowd will definitely be rocking.
I'll have to remember to not dance like it is a jam band show. I hate to be cocky, but I am pretty good at it. It is funny, I've had people come up to me at shows and ask if I am a professional. Some just want to shake my hand, others beg for pictures. One time someone asked if I was related to Michael Jackson. Another time at a Talking Heads show David Byrne asked me to go on stage and lead the crowd, which I happily obliged to.

What would be a good time to get there to be somewhat in the front? I feel like because its in Baton Rouge and Arctic Monkeys are not super popular here, I can arrive like midday, but I'm not completely sure.
Definitely staying afterwards to meet them though.

I used to be all about getting the front row, but as I grow older I don't give much of a shite. As long as the sound is good and I can see the band clearly I'm good.

I tend to drink a lot and have a pretty pathetic bladder so I hate having a spot I have to fight to get back to

Thanks again for breaking the news on this show. Nice to have someone on the board with insider knowledge.

dude that seems a little extreme. You could probably get on the rail by arriving around 7 or even as late as 8.
He'll have to fight me. I need to get as close to Alex Turner as possible.

Gotta agree here. I saw them last weekend in Atlanta, the dude is dreamy as shite.

Hopefully Alabama is gone by then.

I've sat on the rail for an entire day at festivals to see a major act e.g. Radiohead, Rage Against the Machine, and Phish. I have never done it for a normal show.

Festivals make sense. This summer I waited 12 hours for a show with a big band and a small venue. Not ashamed.

Gotta ask, who did you wait 12 hours for? I can think of a couple bands I'd do that for, but it's a very short list.

A band that I've loved for years. That's all that's important.
If I were to say who it is, the music elitists on this board would have a field day ripping my music taste, right to live, etc. to shreds.
