No...
Does it matter? My liking of Arctic Monkeys should redeem it to some extent anyway.

Fun.? Because yes people would make fun of you and rightfully so.
I bet it was Fun.

1. There's been a thread about this
2. This is an Arctic Monkeys thread
3. I don't get the hate anyway. "They suck" is not a valid answer.
4. If anything, I sold my fun. tickets to go to this concert.

1. Yes I was making stupid jokes in that one as well
2. Arctic Monkeys!!
3. They're just easy to make fun of because they sing so passionately with trite, largely meaningless lyrics.
4. You made the right call
But you've peaked my curiosity on the 12 hour wait, I would definitely do it for a Pixies reunion tour or something but can't think of many more. Kudos on the level of passion for something that's required to do that. Now tell us who it was!!!

What is the fascination with getting front row? The sound is always way too loud and you don't get a good view of the lightshow. It is also cramped as frick.

Depends on the band, a lot of times there's an energy in bouncing around with people up front that you just miss out on watching from the back. Deftones wouldn't be nearly as enjoyable without Chino's sweat flying all over the place up front. But for a show like the Shins or my beloved Wilco, I don't feel like I'm missing much by chilling out midway in the crowd.
But Saturday, you can bet your arse I'll be dragging the girlfriend as close as possible and pretending I can't hear her damn complaints about it.

For Arctic Monkeys?
^That is why
ETA: For me, anyway. I have earplugs. I'm good.

I wouldn't care for any other band. But this Saturday, being in the front is something I actually really want to do.

Worst spot in the house IMO

Best spot: right in front of the sound man or behind him.

Sound wise, this is definitely the best spot. I like to get about halfway in between the soundboard and stage.

Tickets for this show are getting hard to find. Nothing is on stubhub and the only thing on craigslist is 3 for $300.

They are extremely scarce.
Smallest venue on the tour.
