Right, because I forgot that Spanish Moon and Texas Club and all those other 2nd tier venues could pull Arctic Monkeys, Deftones, Bush, or even JEW.

Also, there are 5 open dates on their calendar around the BR show...I guess the HOB is all booked up for October

The venue has basically remained the same since Gabe and I booked it in the late 90's early 2000.
I packed in 350 routinely for parties as well.
Now M+W would be hard pressed to get 250 in, but i hope to test that for Quintron and MP

Yes, clearly NOLA only has one venue, and it is the House of Blues.
This is a huge get for the Varsity. Arctic Monkeys sold out Wembley Stadium. They are playing Baton Rouge in between weekend dates at Austin City Limits, where they are billed on the same line as Fun., Queens of the Stone Age, and Kendrick Lamar. I mean, this is a huge act for Baton Rouge.
Hell, they aren't playing Dallas either, and that ticks me off. I was hoping they would use the layover to come up here. It's not often I'm jealous of a band playing BR but not Dallas.
