Anyone ever been to Gasa Gasa in New Orleans?

It's on Freret Street. I've never heard of it until I was looking into going to see Jacob Banks in November. Just wondering what kind of venue it is. Looks like a lot of smaller acts typically play there.

Small venue, stiff cheap drinks, and in a semi sketchy area at night. I uber door to door when I go.

Been to many shows there. Small and fun if good crowd turn out. On other hand, I've been to some shows there where nobody showed up and it was very uncomfortable

Saw All Them Witches there - great intimate venue, cheap drinks, and good vibe.

Ditto. Decent area of town too if you don't mind walking.
Easy parking in paid lots close by that are safe.
Looking forward to going back.
