Anyone a JJ Cale fan?

I think he is criminally underrated. Not saying he is the GOAT of anything, but he gets zero respect.
I just love his sound. Guitar and voice. Type of music I can play all day on the patio, beach or road trip.

Mark Knopler gives mad props to JJ for his style on the guitar, and borrowed from him. Widespread Panic does a few Cale covers in their repertoire.

i hadn't heard this song until phish covered it a few times like 20 years ago, but ain't love funny became an all-time favorite of mine.

Met him when he played at the Varsity some years ago. Also saw him at the old Kingfish circa 1980. One of my favorite artists. Have most all is music including his ‘covers’ of Clapton, Widespread Panic, and Skynyrd.

Look around for Eric Clapton Live from San Diego with Special Guest J. J. Cale. AXS TV broadcasts it from time to time and I'm sure it's available on Netflix, etc.
