Overall a pretty good album. The standout track for me is “Where Is Her Head”, and other highlights were “Quiet Light”, “You Had Your Soul With You”, and “Light Years”.

Have dug into it pretty good and just am not a huge fan. Burying Matt’s vocals brings down some of the songs imo. The Pull of You shouldve be an instant top 15 National song

I don’t feel I’ve listened to it enough yet to say for sure how I feel, plus National albums are almost always growers, but I will say I love Not in Kansas. Rylan is fantastic too, but I’ve been knowing that for eight years and I’m not sure this is the best version.

It's good. Sleep Well Beast was so, so immediately enjoyable. This one may be a grower instead.

My favorite album released in a while has been the Operators album Radiant Dawn. I'm a huge Wolf Parade / Dan Boeckner fan, though. Sometimes I can take or leave all the assorted side projects from Dan and Spencer, but this album kicks arse.
