Anybody ever tried to buy tickets to a concert outside of Tipitina's?

Wife wants to go to Trombone Shorty show this Sunday at Tips. Went to buy tickets a few days ago and they only had 1 ticket left. I went ahead and bought it with the hope of finding another one to buy outside the door that night. Anybody had much experience with this? Just wondering what my chances are.

I don't think they have hard tickets. Everytime I've been there was just will call.

It could happen and I've bought and sold tickets outside of Tips, but it is Mardi Gras and a huge act, so YMMV.

I got to 2 tickets outside of Tips for the NYE Galactic show one time in maybe like 2011 for a little over face

Try StubHub now, but tickets may be limited for this show outside of Tip's the night of.
