Anybody Catch Tedeschi Trucks at Red Rocks Last Friday?

I've been getting sort of blasé about TTB of late but a friend of mine wanted to go to this show so I went with him. The big selling point for me were the opening acts: North Mississippi Allstars and Los Lobos, neither of which I've ever seen. Well those guys were great as expected but I was unexpectedly blown away by TTB.
A couple of songs into NMA's set, David Hidalgo walks out and then I knew it was going to be one of "those" shows. You know, where everybody comes out and plays with everybody else. Sure enough, Derek came out next, followed by one of his backup singers (who could flat belt it out). Then the same thing happened in Los Lobos' set. At one point I think there were 17 people on stage.
Full setlists below but here are the highlights for me. 30 minute version of Más y Más with Derek, Luther and the better part of all three bands. That was followed by Bertha (Grateful Dead). Then TTB's set was almost all cover songs: The Letter, Soul Sacrifice, The Sky Is Crying, The Color of the Blues (George Jones) and more.
Great show that I wasn't all that fired up to go see but man I'm glad I did.

Figured Los Lobos would have busted out a rippin' West L.A. Fadeaway (put on one of their albums) with all those cats joining in! Man, what a show. I saw Luther posting some pics of it on his instagram.
That's 3 bands I would most definitely pay to see jam together.

They rocked that one pretty hard. I told my friend that I hope they recorded it because it would make one hell of a live album.

That's a ridiculous set list from all three. People on here hate on TTB (because of Susan I guess) but they are one of the best groups out there today.

They chose to cover some fricking amazing songs, I'm impressed. Within You Without You is one of my fave Beatles songs.
Did they not play Midnight in Harlem? Obviously it's their biggest hit, and maybe they tire of playing it, but hearing that at Red Rocks would give me a chub.

People see her sort of as Derek's Yoko Ono. She broke up the DTB and made him play "her" music. I don't agree with that at all but I can understand the viewpoint.
First of all, her voice is soulful and strong. That adds a lot right there. Second, while he no longer gets to wade off into territory like Indian Ragas and whatnot, he's had to develop his style in a different direction. And I think it's made him a better player. Also they've taken the best parts of DTB and combined them with the best parts of her band to form one hell of a pile of great musicians. Finally, she ain't too hard to look at.
Incidentally, I found 2 of the 3 sets on archive.org. The Los Lobos set was taped but I've only found a torrent so far.

I passed this year, seen them last few years there. The ominous forecast and secondary market prices kept me away, even though it ended up not raining at all. Doh! Heard it was an awesome show.

I was expecting it for an encore but no. I've seen them do it a couple of times at RR and it's a pretty awesome experience. One of the prettiest songs I ever heard and of course....Red Rocks.
@ColoradoAg - yeah we were prepared for rain but it only drizzled for a little while and then turned into a beautiful night.

Yeah I have no qualms with the direction Susan "took" them. As if Derek didn't want to go there haha. He's playing the music he loves at the end of the day.
