Any Tenacious D fans here?

I'm sure most of y'all are too sophisticated to listen to comedy music, but I enjoy Tenacious D. They are playing at the Fillmore in October in NOLA. I'll be there. Jables and Rage Cage are gonna kill it. The band they play with is pretty awesome as well.

Cool setlist. Some of those songs are on later albums. We are also going to see them at Red Rocks in July. We really wanted to see Red Rocks, and play some summer Colorado golf.

Never been to Red Rocks but it's on the bucket list. Just gotta do it.

I bought my tickets right when they went on sale. I can't miss what is probably my only opportunity to see Jack Black live.

My Dad and I booked the red rocks trip before they announced the Fillmore show. But Red Rocks was bucket list anyway, plus Denver weather in July will be nice.

I thought about going see GVF there but it was way harder to get tickets there than in NOLA. The flights to Denver are pretty cheap but NOLA just made more sense. The venue looks amazing though.

Barring some physical issue I do believe Tenacious D is a standing type of concert.

I saw them back in 2000 and 2001 and enjoyed it. I liked them better when it was just the 2 of them with acoustic guitars. That live album from a couple of years ago isn't very good with the drums and electric guitar added.

Gotcha. Well I’m going with an 83 year old Tenacious D and Ween super fan. Will most likely be his last concert. He wouldn’t come unless we had seats. So it works out.
