With you.

I also agree with an earlier poster about Beck. His music just grinds on my nerves.

I'm not the biggest Eagles fan out there, but I can't understand anyone hating them. Pretty much the same with Skynyrd. Not my favorite band, but they produced some really good stuff.

Two of the most overplayed bands in the history of ears. CCR is right up there with them. It doesn't help that Fogerty made a career out of rehashing the same 3 songs over and over.

I'm just saying it's not fair to "hate" a band because of the 4-5 songs they had that got run into the ground. I understand hating those songs, but it's pretty dumb, imo, to base your opinion of a band only on those songs.

I have listened to a fair portion of The Eagles discog and I find the vast majority of it skip-worthy. I mean, maybe I would enjoy it more if I had a vagina, but Don Henley does not do anything for me.

Good call

I hate about 90-95% of rap music.

I also hate, Nickelback, 3 doors down, Creed, and any band that sounds like this garbage.

I'll get torn for this one, but my God, reggae annoys the frick out of me. It is the same damn thing every time, aside from Bob Marley and Toots.

I'll agree with that, it's a great album and the next was a huge disappointment to me.

Back on topic - I rarely hate a song anymore due to overexposure since I never listen to the radio. But The Road Goes On Forever is a song that REK has overexposed to the point of being absurd. For God's sake stop milking that cow. And back when I did listen to radio I learned to hate Hotel California and Basketball Jones and Wildfire and We Built This City and Hooked on a Feeling and Kung Fu Fighting and.......

It's been a while since I've considered radio to be relevant.

...and to make it worse, I hear at least two other versions: The Highwaymen(Kris sounds worse than usual) and Joe Ely.

As a traditionalist, I have an odd liking for Swift. I know her music is bad and not country by any stretch, but I like it anyway. Go figure.

most of what I listen to is the older rap. I can't sit hear and say all the newer stuff is crap but the majority of it is. I'm sure there is some good stuff out there but I haven't really been trying to find it. I really only listen to music off the computer now. Driving back and forth from work, I listen to sports talk shows.

I agree that most of the Eagles stuff is very meh but it's hard to deny they were great musicians. Their remake of Seven Bridges Road for example was amazing.

I think he's the best part of the Eagles. I thought he had a really solid run as a solo artist. "Boys of Summer", "New York minute", "End of the Innocence", and "Sunset Grill" are quality pop songs.

Some of my most hated songs. I am not a musician, and don't know the terms or how to describe what I hear. He tends to have songs where the music has nothing to do with the way he is singing. No melody? I know...fail on my part. particularly Boys of Summer and Sunset Grill. I want to kill him and puppies.

I loled at the comment on Boys or Summer because that was a song I hated as a kid but grew to appreciate later in life. It's far from a favorite of mine. Sunset Grill wasn't a big hit so it wasn't overplayed. Otherwise I'd agree with you. I guess I get a little nostalgic when I hear that song.

After reading the posts in this thread, I've come up with a couple more.

It seems that everytime I go out somewhere that has live music, these three songs show up everytime.

Brown Eyed Girl
Mustang Sally
You Can Leave Your Hat On

Especially the first two. I can't express how much I hate those songs.

How did I forget those. I could have typed the same thing.
