Thanks for the pointers on the lists. Seeing as how I don't know most of the local acts, I was wondering if anyone knew of specific shows worth mentioning to maybe go to.

I don't recognize any names on there, so another poster would be able to help you on that, I would just go with youtube-ing a few names and see what sounds good.

I don't know any specific zydeco artists, but I've enjoyed seeing zydeco bands down there before at festivals.
