Dude Eddie Money is pretty damn good.
Gotta be in a certain mood to listen to him though.

Back before there were sports message boards, WLAC in Nashville was just about the only outlet for SEC sports news/talk. One of the guys on there was Eddie Money's brother in law. He talked about it incessantly.

I would have called the song Pair 'a Tickets to Paradise, but then again I'm a sucker for alliterative titles.

Long story short, I got to meet him before he played a very small concert for a convention I was attending (my dad was president of the organization the conference was for). This was in Vancouver in 2004.

The concert was great, like seeing him in a small bar basically, he really rocked. Here is a pic we took before the show. Yes, that is me with no head! (He would not stop smoking even though they tried....it was strictly no smoking where we were in the convention center).

Definitely my favorite, although I enjoy many of his other songs. I remember buying his greatest hits CD in high school in the early 90's and most of my friends didn't know who the frick he was.

I had to educate them.......

ETA: He sang that live along with just about all of his hits, plus a few lesser known songs. He sounded pretty good considering his age and that was 8 years ago......not so sure about now.....
