As far as rap goes, I like it. Yolandi Visser is a hot little freak.

I'm generally pretty tolerant towards different music but I don't understand how anyone can tolerate this horrible horrible shite excuse for music

I see you recognize satire....

As for bad music, it's really not that bad. I'd rather listen to pop music with a sense of satire than the pure crap they sell in the US.

I would prefer to listen to good music than bad music under the premise of satire.

I mean listen to whatever you like but it would probably help people to get the message their satire is trying to convey if people could actually get through more than a few seconds of a song.

No offense, but I consider myself quite a music snob, so pulling that card on me is pointless. Your definition of good music is an opinion, just like mine is. I think it is catchy and original, which is more than you can say about 99% of US pop music.

Of course it is thats why I said listen to what you want. You like it? thats great more power to you.

I find it to be absolutely horrid

being better than most american pop music isn't exactly a high honor to strive for.

I could tear apart the bands you like if I wanted to be a dick, but why would I feel the need to?

and I would enjoy the debate. You knew a band like Die Antwoord would elicit at least some of these types of responses before you posted. I told you that I don't fault you for listening to it. However you asked for opinions so I gave you mine

Actually, I asked if there were any fans here, you had to go all superiority complex and respond with

Fine then I'm a dick whatever your opinion about me doesn't bother me what so ever. However my opinion on your hipster music seems to have really ruffled your feathers.

Musically, there isn't anything special, but Ninja is a pretty talented rapper.

Don't act like an arrogant prick and I won't call you one. Nice try with the hipster jab. Did you think that one up yourself? I know, it's just the token response when a music snob has had his music snobbery questioned. "Oh, you're a bigger music snob? Well, well, well....HIPSTER!"

To get back on topic, I seem to remember hearing that the girl from Die Antwoord was up for the lead role in Girl With the Draton Tattoo
