Congrats on a terrible but popular opinion. When he was young Springsteen could write some great songs. The entire Nebraska album is a classic.

This is the true answer. Every other song mentioned has at least one aspect that isn't completely awful. The Shaggs are out of tune, out of time, compositionally and lyrically inept and the records are poorly recorded. If you have perfect pitch, there probably isnt anything more deleterious or tortuous.
