Was so special for our crew to hear Nutshell and Got me Wrong, among others. Great show. Love Duvall. He is the man. Represents AIC in such a good way.

I don't know how anyone can bitch about Layne not being there after hearing Duvall live. He absolutely killed all the older songs. Them Bones was especially great.

Many people around me sat down to watch them and after about two songs you could tell they thought "nah, I'm gonna go grab another drink" and left.

Duvall absolutely killed it on Nutshell and Cantrell's solo was his best of the night, IMO.

I was on the front row for the show (not in the pit, but right behind it) and Cantrell was about five feet from me for that solo. I recorded almost all of it.

So. Friggin. Awesome.

We caught about 15 picks too during and after the show.

What a night.

I got a pick from Cantrell. Its one of the highlights of my collection now. I was sitting on his side but in front of the speakers, basically off stage.

A couple of thoughts, the crowd was much older than I expected. These people must have been in their mid 20s to early 30s when AIC got big or they really are dad rock at this point. There were constantly people running up and down the aisles trying to get up front to get pics or film the show. The people who actually had seats up there would get pissed. Could have been some fights over this if people were drunker. One of the drawbacks of a sitdown rock show. I thought there was too much bass for Would and that's my favorite song of their's. The interstate was closed at Donaldsonville on the way home. I don't know the backroads around there but luckily waze got me to Gonzalez and back on the interstate.

Here's a bonus Cantrell pic

Yep, that's how close I was, just the opposite end.

Had several people try to come in front of us to take pics/vids, but we had buddied up with the security guy before the show. He would move them quickly. LOL

I thought about asking him if I could go in the pit, but didn't push it. He helped us find the first couple of picks they threw in our area too.

I noticed this as well. But then again, maybe this group grew up with hair metal and got tired of it, so they really jumped on board the grunge explosion when they were in their 20s/30s.

This annoyed me. Once I took the exit, I noticed another cop blocking the ramp to get back on I10, so I asked him what the deal was but all he said was I needed to U turn and head toward Airline Hwy to continue heading toward BR.

She liked rubbing her junk. The music was just silly. Looked like Devo, the Plasmatics, and Credence Clearwater Revival formed a super group.

Best song of the night IMO was Down in a Hole. Just sounded perfect. Nutshell and Would? And Stone were on point also.

Yeah the ride home sucked. I was wondering why Waze was telling me to turn right into Sorrento.

Great fricking concert.

My brother and I were talking about the crowd too. We were joking bc I took my sister, who is almost 30. Facelift came out when she was about 2. LOL

Hard to believe but AIC has almost been around 30 years, even with the 14 years off between AIC and BGWTB

I wish they would have played more new stuff. The stuff with Devall is great. He adds a different dimension to the group Staley couldn't due to the ability to write songs and play an instrument.
