A little live Sepultura for your viewing pleasure

I love all the metal topics lately, and Sepultura has been mentioned in a few of them. Been playing Chaos AD for about the last month straight in my truck. Got me to thinking... I like to look back for live shows of bands around the time I saw them. Saw these guys in August of '91 in a 500 or so capacity club in fricking Orange Park, a dumpy little suburb of Jacksonville. One of the best damn shows I've ever seen!!! This was shot just two+ months prior...

I've seen many genres of concerts. Someone said on here recently, I think it was Pisces Tiger, that of all the different types of music, the best concerts are metal. Could NOT agree more!!! And to me there's nothing better than seeing a great metal band in a small venue. Enjoy.

Their look and sound is so original.
I've never seen/heard 294 other bands that are nearly identical.
You need to go to some other concerts.

I am sure I did as I truly have never had so much fun then seeing these dudes, Slayer, Pantera, etc. back at Ozzfest almost 20 years ago. I was just listening to "Murder" while ago!

Depends on what you put into it.
If you go to a Metal show and stand in the back and nod your head, you probably won't care for it. I am too old now, but being in a pit at concerts like Slayer, Down, Soilwork, and Ministry beat the crap out of jumping straight up and down for 2 hours for concerts like Toad the Wet Sprocket or Gin Blossoms.
Actually, though, the best concerts are indeed metal, but the best singular CONCERT I ever went to was Depeche Mode back in 1998.

As far as thrash goes, they were miles ahead of everyone outside of the Big 4 and were arguably more impressive than Anthrax.

Speaking of Sepultura, are you aware that the "Andreas Kisser Band" (a.k.a. Sepultura minus the Cavaleras)is coming to New Orleans?
I would kill to see them do a reunion show with at least 3/4 of the original members. Anything less just seems like a waste.

That show happened a few weeks ago. Paulo Jr is still in the band too I think.

No I was not. You going? If I was over that way I would consider checking that out. I searched pollstar and didn't see them. Doubt they're coming to Jacksonville anyway.

If you watch the video posted in the OP, and act as if that show is somehow unique of original,mthen you are just being an obtuse clown.
