There you have it, Peej likes Rush.

Objective proof that they do, in fact, suck.

Out of curiosity though..... What does Rush have to do with "80's head bangers"?

Figure of speech for Rock band... my apologies

Our of curiosity, do you like rock type music? - if so which group "doesn't suck" in your view of the world?

I'm also wondering who you consider to be a great band. Rush, Kiss and Springsteen suck, but you respect the opinion of Don Henley. We're not sure what you think of his music...

Lots of groups don't suck.

Some of the best are:

Pink Floyd
Ween
NIN
Faith No More
The Who
CCR

As you can see, I have exquisite taste.

Actually, I don't really care for The Eagles, but I was asked to name musicians that didn't care for Rush (as if they don't exist), and instead of going with the easy choice of 95% of the rap community, I went with Henley, as he's come out and basically called them shitty in the past.

I guess I never realized how polarizing Rush was. I'm glad you cited Henley, rather than 95% of rap artists, but I'm sure there are musicians out there who think Henley sucks (aside from his bandmates and Mojo Nixon).

I generally don't care for rap as a genre, but that doesn't mean it all sucks. It's just usually not for me. I've been exposed to the likes of Katy Perry, Carly Rae Jepson and Taylor Swift by some of the youngsters in my family. I'm not rushing out to buy their music or go to their concerts, but I can recognize that there's a market for it and some people really enjoy it. It doesn't necessarily suck, it's just not to my taste. But I'm willing to bet that in 35 years people won't still by going to their shows, unlike Rush.

Both would be in my top ten.

Totally different sounds from the band.
