I just shake my head in amazement at who would down vote how great Prince was. I guess he just wasn't there cup of tea.
Once you get past the "weirdness" you see how great he was. And PLENTY of legends (that those same down voters LOVE) will tell you the same.

He has never left my regular rotation. I even rock Under the Cherry Moon once in a while.

Great story about Prince. Playing a show one night, some asshoe in the crowd was calling him gay. He stopped the show and said, “ if you think I’m gay, send your girlfriend backstage and see who she leaves with tonight.”
