It's a great song - arguably their best single track not named Lateralus - but I also have a soft spot for Eulogy AND the title track from the same album as 46 and 2.
Plus, as I get older - I tend to agree with others that - for all the spins I've given Ænima over the years, Undertow is a tight, crisp album with no filler. It doesn't "meander" as the other Tool albums do at times. I'm not saying Undertow is their best album even (because that's almost certainly Lateralus), but it holds its own with Ænima and 10,000 days for example.

It's a great song, but in the lower half of the songs I'd pick as favorites on Aenima.

APC is very good, but calling those two "masterpieces" is a bit too far.
Downward Spiral absolutely it.
As much as I love The Fragile, I also would pump the brakes on this one.
Regarding the OP: 46-2 is spectacular. My personal favorite is Push It. The drum work, timing and changes in this song are all pure perfection. This along with Aenima, Flood and 10,000 days are all their true masterpieces. 462 is up there though

Flood really resonates with me. That's probably my favorite Undertow track. It's amazing how well that album has held up.

Undertow it will always be for me. You can hear the greatness of the 100k budget as opposed to the mind-blown engineering on the next 2. The first 7 songs on Undertow...holy shite.
