I ordered a door mat for outside my patio door a few days ago. It says:
Don’t stop.
Be leaving.

I saw them in Baton Rouge on that tour I believe. The Babys opened and it was a great show.

Only got the chance to see the effective journey tribute band with Neil Schon.
At the time the lead singer was Jeff Scott Soto, now sings with Trans Siberian orchestra.

Was there. Yes, it was an awesome concert. The Babys were phenomenal. Think they were touring the Union Jack album which is one of the more underrated albums at that time. They blew me away.

Frontiers and Pyromania(bought them at the same time) were the first cassettes that I ever bought with my own money.
A lot of people seem to think that Raised On Radio was a bad album, but it was probably my favorite from Journey. Mostly because of Neil Schon's guitar work on that album.
Infinity was good too. But Escape will probably always be the album that is most closely associated with the band.

I can still remember taking the album from the liner, placing it on the turntable and dropping the needle.
BLOWN AWAY.

Raised on Radio was a very good album in my opinion. What an incredible treat to hear Larrie London play with Randy Jackson on a rock album. Journey cuts always had deep grooves (Smith, Dunbar), but London and Jackson were a special section.

That’s a legit cool story . Had you heard don’t stop believing beforehand or was that opening riff the first time you’d heard it ?
In a similar vane, I was with my good friend in Athens one weekend a few years back to a records store and browsing around and found almost a perfect Led Zeppelin 4 at a steal of a price.
My friend bought it, he had the record player, in his home office with tall ceilings, threw on when the levee breaks and I can feel the drums hitting in my toes and it was epic

Had not heard it at the time. I was a Journey fan so I was familiar with the band, but that first time hearing the opening riff was good enough that I remember picking up the needle and starting the track over several times.
