George Strait was a special deal because it was his farewell tour, his tour manager was from Louisiana, and they were looking for some stadiums to end the run with. It was a no-brainer to make a stop at Tiger Stadium with the infrastructure already in place.
I don't know what the T-Swizzle deal is or why she doesn't have have an opening act yet. I thought Garth would get the George Strait deal this year. It's free money for a big name to play a stadium. Most costs are already covered by BCSF.
Man, country music is such a shite show. Female artists have pretty much been abandoned by the genre. This lineup reflects that. Miranda Lambert and Cassadee Pope...both there because of Blake's Voice popularity and nothing more.

This is one trashy lineup. Other than Kenny Chesney and maybe Blake Shelton, I wouldn't spend any of my time and money watching any of the other artists. Probably not even gonna go this.
