Saw Futurebirds on NYE and several times in Athens.
But what jumped out at me was Blue Blood, because that Hunter Morris guys is a fly fishing guide in N. Georgia, along with his dad, Carter. I've fished with them before and had no idea he was that serious about music.

There is a new band from Huntsville Alabama that is gonna break out this year. A guy I went to school with is in the band and they are the best band I've heard in a few years. They are recoring their first CD in February with the guy that produced The Alabama Shakes first album.
Have sort of a Modest Mouse/Pixies kind of sound but use electronic beats in some of their songs. Really good stuff.

The Art Of Passing Time. They have only played a couple of shows though, they are waiting until after they record their CD to go on tour. I go and watch them practice a lot, their singer lives about a mile from me.

yeah, I agree. one of my favorite newer bands. lightning at the door was terrific.

Also they have a 25 one song EP they released. Anything else you would be breaking it to me.
