Disco Biscuits are as much "jamtronica" I can handle, along with the New Deal and Brothers Past I guess. Lots of crap in that genre.

what's the MB opinion on the greatness that is STS9?

I love STS9 for what it is, just really chill music. I listen to it sometimes whenever I'm sitting at home. It should be enjoyed like thievery corp, tycho, or a chillwave type of band.

It isn't a jam band. It gets a lot of hate on this board because this board hates anything that isn't 100% instrumental (its a sports website what do you expect)

I actually liked sts9 before I ever listened to tDB

I actually had way more fun at STS9 than tDB at Rothbury, which was the first time I saw either

But the last two STS9 shows I saw were both really, really boring. Haven't given them a shot since.

Saw them a few times during that period. It was really fun at the time, but at that young stage I was down to get fricked up and go see anything.

Last show I went to was at Mardi Gras World 2012 I think and it sucked big time.

I felt the same. STS9 is just what I listened to in order to get into the Disco Biscuits.

No doubt sts9 has hit a rough patch. For some reason a lot of their music really connects with me...that's awesome you caught Rothbury danman, what an incredible festival. The pnuma trio show in 2008 is still one of the best shows I've seen. Do you guys all live around BR or what? I feel like we might know some of you.

the biscuits play the hard rock genre like betty boop really well just like their trance-electronic stuff

the hard rock barber guitar jams are my favorite though: MEMPHIS, Betty Boop, Shelby Rose, Vasillios
