I think Nolan's three batman movies are the three best comic book movies ever (haven't seen Logan). I also think people obsess over issues in TDKR that would be overlooked in other comic book movies.

I thought the movie Sideways was awful.

1. I think Scarlett Johansson is homely.
2. I don't give a pass to Wiley Wiggins in Dazed and Confused for depicting an awkward kid. He's just a bad actor and that's the end of the story.
3. I've always loved Eyes Wide Shut.
4. The "arse in her cock" line in Boogie Nights was not a "happy accident" on any level. Totally written and planned that way.

Hell, to add to my previous post, I think the TDK trilogy is better than the original Star Wars trilogy. I think TDK is better than ESB and TDKR is better than ROTJ.

Adam Sandler films are terribly overrated.

That's a very, very popular opinion around here.

Seems that you are in the majority with that one, especially in here.

Oh. I thought most people considered it one of the better comic book movies.

10. We'll never see another wide release hand drawn animated film, and that's sad. I like the CGI films for story, but there is often something very sterile about the presentation. The emotional impact of Toy Story movies are blunted by the visual presentation.

Miyazaki has come back out of retirement, so we'll at least get one.

I'm not going that far - the best acting in Blade Runner was by Hauer and Sanderson, IMHO. Both the leads were a little weak, but it works in the larger scope of the film.

I still haven't seen the directors cut. The voice overs really annoyed so maybe that why I think that way. I only watched it for the first time last year.

The end turn with the doll was awesome.

They're all pretty funny.

The superhero dating sketch is probably my favorite. Hugh Jackman with nuts in his neck was hilarious too.

The second matrix movie wasn't bad.

Link? Because I only saw the 1st one and was so pissed when I left the theatre that I never saw any of the others.

It was almost entirely the studio's fault. Jackson and the staff had no time to prepare and the studios were breathing down their neck. New Line on the other hand gave them plenty of time to perfect LotR.

Here's the video where they explain what went wrong: LINK

Skip it because it "isn't" a director's cut. You want the 2007 "Ultimate" or "Final" cut, that came as the Blu-Ray release.

1. No Country for Old Men is not a good movie
2. I've seen better actors on the quad every day than Leonardo DiCaprio or Tom Cruise

Threat Level Midnight is the greatest movie of all time.

Though that's probably a popular opinion.
