Not exactly horror, but Boxing Helena was disturbing as hell to me. Of course, I haven't seen it in 25 or so years, but I remember I never want to watch it again.

Possession
The Wicker Man (original)
The Witch
Hereditary
Funny Games (original)

Honorable mention because it’s not strictly a horror film - The Vanishing (original)

The Hills have Eyes. The sequence with the eating of the pet bird and burning the dad outside really messed with me as a kid

Blair Witch Project (Saw it opening weekend before you knew it was all fake. Their campaign on internet was well done making it seem like a found documentary. Now it’s hard to get through 5 minutes of it once you know)

same here - shite fricked me up

Yeah. That’s one I am too disturbed to even try to watch a first time. Doesthedogdie.com is a frequent visit for me and knowing the animal stuff was real… no thanks.

The animal stuff is only a small portion of it though.

CH is fricked up on a lot of different levels.

Haven't seen 3 From Hell, but I've heard it's not good.

Is a good one for most disturbing list. Serpent and the Rainbow is another one.

I think I’d be ok with the rest the impaling scene looks so real.

But knowing all the stuff they did to the animals is real is enough to keep me away.

After seeing Two Moon Junction, I went into this movie thinking, sweet Sherilyn Fenn back again.

Have no idea who this movie is for.

So what is the deal with Event Horizon? So many mentions I think I have to see it. The last scene of Hereditary haunts me.
