not a bad show. Wife and I enjoyed it. Some good performances by the actors. Loved the Moriarity character.

Yeah, im on episode 5. Really enjoy the show.
It's crazy the main 2 actors come from good acting families and I've never heard of them before this.

The actor playing Sherlock is a nephew of Ralph Fiennes.

Ralph's brother Joseph plays Sherlock's father.

Sherlock's older brother is played by the son of Jeremy Irons.

Moriarty is the 2nd main character. He is played by Donal Finn. He doesn't come from a well-known family as best I can tell.

Odd that Moriarty is the best friend of Holmes in this series. That probably does not sit well with the purists.

it does go off the rails but it does get back on the rails. it's not really true Sherlock Holmes stuff but it's pretty good. Mycroft is the most accurate part of the series.

Yeah, if you are a Holmes purist, this series is not for you.

Watched E6 and half of E7 last night.

It did go off the rails. Not sure if I'm in the mood to finish it now.

Thought it was pretty good overall.

As some said it got a bit silly at the end, but I thought still pretty good, and I’m not a Sherlock ride or die.

My only problem, if it can even be considered that, is that the second guy Moriarti stole every single scene he was in to the point it was almost awkward, AND this is with the fact that I really liked the Sherlock actor.

All of the adults were either wooden or cartoonish, but I thought Moriarti and Sherlock were so good. That Moriarti dude is gonna be a star.

Went ahead and watched the finale. It was worth it after all.

Just finished it up last night. The first four episodes were a little slow going but it picked up steam throughout the last four. It is a bit unconventional in the Moriarty aspect, but the actor playing him was entertaining, even moreso than Sherlock as some have said. The different family dynamic was a departure as well.

The actress playing Beatrice was good and really came into her own in the last few episodes. I've always liked Max Irons (Mycroft) since I saw him play Howard Carter in the King Tut miniseries. Jeremy Iron's son. Decent overall but not compelling over Cumberbatch, Downey Jr., and even Millie Bobbie Brown and Henry Cavill.
