I'm kind of torn on Jamie.
Yes, he is making the wrong decision choosing his bio father over John, but I feel like Beth and the circumstances of his bio father and his adoption has psychologically fricked him up royally, and it has affected his decision making when it comes to the family.
Beth is a total cVnt to him all because of the abortion thing which wasn't really even Jamie's fault.

Id say he made the right decision.. My god look how she treats kids. She can't successfully take a kid to buy a shirt without throwing one of her hissy fits. She's WAY to selfish to have kids.

was it over the top sure, but people get fired/pushed out all the time when relationships happen in the office place.

I thought they already know who. I thought they were getting Jamie involved just to figure out where Jamie stands.
I figured Jamie not passing along the info told them what they needed to know(which is why Dutton is running for governor).

It's the thing about a fair fight where two men square off and give it everything they got. Each ends up having a newfound respect for the other. Trading that buckle for the guitar was Lloyd's way of saying, it's done and I was wrong, which he was. It's the old way of settling disputes.

When the old man and his son came after them, they got rid of them.
They got rid of Rourke.
but, now they "know" jamie knows something and hid it from them they pay him back by having John run for governor instead of jamie?

Bad writing on Beth and Jamie. They should have had Jamie ask to meet John out at his spot on the ranch. Tell him the info in an unofficial way, then walk off.
