For the first movie. Other characters set up in that movie were only pictures on a morgue table in the second movie. Including Zoe Kravitz who at the time was better known.

Yes. Magneto has very high power/skill levels. In one old Supervillain Team Up, he freed the Beast from mind control after Dr. Doom had used some type of gas to brainwash everyone on the planet except Magneto. Something about manipulating the iron in his blood.

He busted in on the Avengers, tried to get their help and they attacked him. He put Ant Man and the Wasp in metal spheres to contain them; afterwards they commented that he could have killed them, but left air inside for them to breath. I think Beast was with the Avengers at the time, and he'd already tried the Baxter Building but the Fantastic Four was off in space somewhere.
We haven't seen that from the movie Magneto.
