Really enjoyed it. I think I messed up my original thought of the ending though. Apocalypse is getting distintegrated and then starts eye fricking the shite out of Jean in pheonix form. To me he was recognizing the next mutant he wished to collect from. Then he is vaporized and we see Psylocke sneak off. My thought was that he possessed her and kind of lived to fight another day, but haven't seen anyone else mention that.

He needs to transfer process to take over another person so I doubt he took over Psylocke.

Just watched X-Men Apocalypse.

-I wish there was some way to splice in the Mystique, Night Crawler relationship.

-Apocalypse is not as powerful as he think he was. That was a big part of his down fall.

-I feel that if they are going to add in religion, either go all out or have nothing at all. I don't like this middle of the road thing.

-Quicksilver steals the show.

-Mega Phoenix was awesome

-it can seem comic book ish for like partial global destruction and no worries at all after the fact .

-overall, I really enjoyed the movie.

Just now got around to watching this because I was not impressed with what I heard. I was pleasantly surprised. Not bad at all though it might have been helped by my low expectations.

I thought it was a fun comic book film. Reviews were overly harsh, IMO.

Yeah, after all the crap I read on the internet it was a great diversion. Not sure it'll be a frequent rewatch, but it was entertaining.

I think internet message boards have some secret agreement to elevate one comic book movie above reality every year and trash all the others.

I liked it, but it seemed as though Apocalypse became more and more of an afterthought towards the end of the movie.

First it was Eric and his power that started to upstage Apocalypse and then Phoenix.

I enjoyed the beginning of the movie more, when Apocalypse was all powerful.

That's the problem with all-powerful enemies. Like in Age of Ultron, the Avengers defeat all of the clones the same way with their same powers.
